百步蛇阿瑪尼代表守謢，守護著山林、守護著部落、守護著族人、守護著文化與傳統能世綿延，讓更多看見魯凱的美麗。（阿瑪尼為魯凱語「那一位」之意，暗指百步虴在魯凱文化裡是不可直接稱呼其名的聖者之意）

Guardian Amani stands for protection. He guards the forest and the village, the tribe, its culture and traditions, lest they die out and so that more people can appreciate the beauty of the Rukai.
